Hi Ania ! You are from Poland and you have spend one year in Bulgaria as a European Volunteer. Can you tell us why you have choosen this project in Bulgaria, what were your expectations ?
I’ve choosen Bulgaria because I’ve found intresting project connected with work with children.
Can you present now your project and your role ?
My project is :
- to organize youth groups involved in youth initiatives for example ‘Big brother, big sister”
- to manage and coordinate young people in the art workshops like music, dancing, cooking, creativity, drama and games
- to help organizing other events in the Youth Centre with the teacher
After one year here, what report can you do ? (tell what difficulties you have met here, what are your best and your worst souvenir, what you learn about Bulgaria, about yourself…)
For me the biggest problem was that I didn’t know the language and I couldn’t speakv with other people.
About Bulgaria... I think I was a good student I was learning their history, geography, national meals etc....
About me... It’s to early to say.
What are your projects after this year in Bulgaria ?
It want to continue my work as a volunteer in a polish NGO organization.
