15 European volunteers who are working in different cities in Bulgaria met on 28th of October 2009 in Haskovo Youth centre. They prepared a big international intercultural dinner, brought typical drinks and food from their countries: France, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Armenia and Georgia. The reason was the valorisation stage of Quentin Lequeu from belgium who is working on an EVS project in the youth centre. He started his project in March 2009 and he's going home (unfortunately) at the end of December 2009. A great idea to invite so many volunteers together to promote their projects and singing, dancing and tasting food and drinks with the local youngsters to encrease the European awareness!
Sona Minasyan from Armenia and Sebastien Godart from Belgium who are now working for our NGO - IYVC helped him a lot to organise and implement the event.
We are welcoming such nice and useful ideas for promoting EVS in Bulgaria!!
I was there. :) It was so COOOL evening. I prepered Latvian tradicional cold soup and cake from Izvara. :)
